Cpl. Leon Simons, Cpl. Cpl. Seb Belton and Sgt. Gaz Longley all of the RAF Regiment have just completed the St Begas Ultra marathon to raise money and awareness for the FCT.
The St Begas Ultra was a 35mile multi terrain marathon, climbing 5800ft in the Western Lake District. Just to make it a bit more of a challenge they all decided to do the ultra caring 30lbs on our back. They completed the challenge and raised over £350 for the Forces Children’s Trust.
These guys are currently serving at RAF Honington at the Force Protection Training Team and have all done 2-3 tours each of Afghanistan, Cpl Leon Simons has also done 3 tours of Iraq and this is his third event in raising funds for the FCT.
