Legoland Toy run

The Legoland toy run is an annual event to deliver presents to the army service children living at Broom Farm, run by Stuart Hookway.

The toys are escorted on the route by festively dressed bikers.  The route begins at Legoland and goes through Windsor Town Centre, ending at Broom Farm. As well as the toy donations companies also donated raffle prizes.  The raffle in aid of the Forces Children’s Trust raised £607.81. Legoland also very kindly donated 20 tickets to the FCT.

Other people and organisations involved (totalling around 120) were:

  • Royal Borough Community Wardens
  • Various marshalls and helpers
  • Tesco donated bacon, sausages and hot drinks
  • Legoland who hosted the start and donated Legoland tickets
  • Windsor Chapter of the Hells Angels
  • Thames Valley Harley Davidson owners
  • Royal Borough Scooter Club
  • Motorcycle Action Group members
  • Other local bikers
  • Broom Farm residents
