Andy Martin writes of his amazing golf fundraiser…“On the 29th/30th of June this I took up the challenge of playing 24hrs of golf non-stop (and what a challenge it proved to be)”

At 10am on the 29th and with the club captain playing the first round with me we headed of and 2hrs and 73 shots later round 1 was complete and this set the tone for the day. With various club members down to play with me and also members setting the night glow equipment out the challenge continued through the night.
At one point at around 2am in the morning around 10members and supporters were out keeping me going. At 10:30 on the 30th the challenge was over with 9 rounds completed and 729 shots taken with an average 81 shots per round taken.
I would like to thank the club and members for their support but also the company I work centaur services who kindly sponsored all the night equipment and also agreed to match all donations I received within the company.
I originally set a target of £1000 but and now looking to clear £1500.”
