Hotel Marketing Association raises £7600 at Christmas Luncheon and Awards


The Annual Hotel Marketing Association Christmas Luncheon and Marketing Awards were held at the Savoy on the 19th December 2011. The Association, which provides education to raise the standard in hotel marketing and to endorse good marketing practise, raised monies for The Forces Children’s Trust through a raffle and auction and raised £7,600.


Colonel Bob Stewart DSO MP, patron of the charity, made a speech at the event which was also attended by Denny Wise. Andrea McKay, Chair of the Hotel Marketing Association, said ‘I am delighted that the generosity of members and those that bid for prizes and donated at the event meant that we are able to give an amazing amount to such a worthwhile charity’.
